Dean of Students 
The Dean of Students is responsible for the management and programming for the academic progress and success of Legacy students and Academic Coaches. This position will manage personalized educational programming, interventions, progress monitoring, supplies, and transportation to ensure all LCF students have access to individualized resources to earn a high school diploma. This position will foster healthy relationships, communication, and collaboration with local educators, parents and the community. Also, this position will recruit, train, monitor and schedule Academic Coaches, literacy instructors and Choice Ready leaders. This position will promote the mission and goals of LCF through regular and positive interactions with teens, parents, and community partners.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and work experience of three years or more.


Academic Coach
Academic Coaches are secondary education majors enrolled in local universities. Potential candidates must be available to work M-H, 3:30-7:30 pm during the school year. 

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of these positions, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others.  The employee must be able to use a keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.  The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and to reach with hands and arms.  The employee must be able to review detailed documents and read computer screens.

Lifting Requirements:
The employee will be required to be able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.  Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
